I'm a laydee!

Forget smock tops, mini dresses and shorts. If you really want to stand out this summer, why not get all lady like and nab yourself a dress to flatter your curves and make you feel special.

Best places for ladies are definitely Karen Millen and Principles or if you're on a budget Oasis and Next.

Floaty and feminine
Remember when you were a little girl and all you wanted to be was a fairy, floating about from room to room in an amazing dress? Behold, your wishes just came true.
Images clockwise from top: Karen Millen yellow chiffon drape and embroidered strapless (prices on request); Warehouse dandelion print, £90; Wallis colour block maxi, £45; Miss Selfridge print pocket, £35

Serious ballroom
Okay these dresses are not for the faint hearted but imagine rocking up to work in one of these taffeta gowns (I so would!). Still, be brave, at least wear one of these on a night out. Take a tiara.
Images clockwise from top: Oasis metallic bandeau, £70 and taffeta bow, £65; Principles origami sack, £69; Oasis ruched taffeta, £65

Something for the office

If you're not going to wear the ball gowns to work, then at least wear these.

Images from left: navy print, £55; floral print, £37; and lime bow-front, £45; all from Next
