Black and white is alright

The black and white trend is big this spring. Maybe it's because it is so easy to wear. Putting an outfit together is a no brainer and whatever you wear you end up looking very chic. Another way to wear black and white is by freshening the look with bright accessories like coloured patent shoes and bags or some pretty jewellery. Use these looks as inspiration.

M. Andonia patent leather bow bag, all-the-trimmings.co.uk, £220. Expensive but oh, so pretty.

Next vintage-style sunglasses, £10. White sunglasses are officially a trend to watch right now. Go one further with this black and white pair.

Topshop flower flat shoes, £80. Kill two trends with one stone and rack up the style points with these floral inspired, pretty black and white flats.

Warehouse striped swing dress, £35. Put some curve in your swerve with horizontal stripes. Flattering for the smaller figure...

Or flatter a curvy figure and fuller boobs with this black and cream striped number from Next, £40.

Get style-spotted in these polka dot, sling back, peep toes also from Next, £25.
